Atty. Cristy began her legal practice as a Court Decongestion Officer (CDO) with the judiciary. As a CDO, she has authored numerous court’s decisions, orders, and resolutions and was exposed to the court’s processes through the mentorship of a judge.
In 2023, Cristy shifted to private practice where she focused on litigating civil, criminal, and special proceedings cases. She represented clients before Municipal Trial Courts in Cities (MTCC) and Regional Trial Courts (RTC) for pre-trials, trials, motions and other incidents. She also represented clients for mediation, compromises, and judicial dispute resolutions.
Upon joining FFOA Law Office, Cristy has reapplied her experience as an Audit Associate of SGV & Co. in helping clients with their corporate and taxation related concerns. She has also gained valuable experience in registration and incorporation of several foreign corporations, conducted legal studies and property due diligence for clients, and coordinated with government agencies for regulatory compliance and licensing. She has also assisted in the liquidation and rehabilitation proceedings for clients.
At present, Cristy is a faculty member of the Accountancy Division of Philippine Women’s College and Ateneo de Davao University where she is teaching Taxation and Business Laws.
